automatic reply is a debut solo album by dawno temu aka agnieszka bykowska (poet, composer and musician known from caluskov 102 and godot) composed and recorded between 2019-2021 in bydgoszcz. this is a story of a sensitive human being who one day finds herself/himself behind walls of a huge corporate system. vocal clouds, choires recorded on a corporate headset, musing synth chords, worrisome bass lines, disturbing reverbs, randomized mellow arpeggios, experimental samples recorded on a two-string guitar - it all contributes to this soundtrack-for-dreams atmosphere of the album.
